About YEPC
Providing Peace Education for Global Youth
Since 2020, IPYG has operated Youth Empowerment Peace Class (YEPC), an informal peace education program that ensures youth around the world can learn and pursue peace.
Since its launch, the program has engaged approximately 3,300 participants from 60 countries and continues to introduce new educational content each year to reflect evolving youth-related issues. In the past terms, the program provided Parenting Education to support young parents due to child marriage or conflict, Youth Health Education to raise awareness of drug-related risks and promoteย mental and physical well-being, Leadership Education to become influential youth leaders,ย and youth engagement in peacebuilding and Career Education to empower youth to plan for the future.
Youth who participated in YEPC expressed that the program positively changed their lives through practical education. They learned how to build peace, and the program became a hope for youth.
Courses on youth change and growth will be prepared for the fifth term of YEPC. We hope that the youth attendingย this program will grow into great leaders and change the world through peace. We look forward to your participation.
The YEPC contributes to providing global youth with Goal 4 of the SDGs.

Attending the three-day Zoom learning session of YPEC was an incredibly enriching experience. The depth of knowledge shared, the interactive sessions, and the opportunity to engage with such a diverse group of participants were truly inspiring. One of the highlights for me was the collaborative learning environment that fostered open discussions and the exchange of fresh ideas. The speakers were not only knowledgeable but also passionate about their subjects, which made the sessions both informative and engaging.

I felt YEPC is an essential education for young people, and I also felt inspired to become an IPYG educator to spread peace education to more youth.

Thank you very much for educative and informative education. Helped us understand the value of peace, the cause of wars. Trying to promote peace. I want to emphasize that it goes for all young people. And we need to share with each other so that everyone is on the same page, how world war started. We have responsibility to pass on peace to next generation, so that they can be free from war. Young people getting information make sure that we can be policy makers that we can support DPCW and to submit to UN.

When I joined the YEPC class as a youth group member, I saw how peace was made in different places in the world and also the whole chart which was shown with different videos showing with graphs that In which world war and after how much loss in which country, when peace was established, how are their current conditions? โจ I believe that establishing peace is very important for our future people and generations and I am grateful to IPYG for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this group. Thank you for learning about peace.

I found it really interesting about the articles of DPCW and see the ways to achieve peace also through ethnicity and religion.
