IPYG: Building Peace Together with Over 1,500 Organizations Worldwide

Sponsoring Organizations of the 2025 International Youth Peace Conference

The IPYG network is growing remarkably. Currently, IPYG has partnerships with 1,560 organizations across 129 countries, reflecting the global solidarity it has built as a youth peace network. This year alone, 297 organizations from 9 countries joined the network, further expanding its reach and impact.

A total of 111 government youth organizations from around the world provided their names as sponsors of the 11th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit. This goes beyond mere numbers, demonstrating IPYG’s ability to establish genuine partnerships and implement peace initiatives in diverse ways.

To empower youth to take the lead in building peace, IPYG has structured the Youth Engagement & Peacebuilding Working Group (YEPW) into five action models (Public Awareness, Volunteering, Training, Policy Advocacy, and Creative Collaboration). Based on these models, youth in each region design and implement peace activities while establishing partnerships with government ministries, corporations, and NGOs, thereby broadening the scope of the collaborations.

In Austria and Germany, the continuous operation of the Youth Empowerment Peace Class (YEPC) led to an official invitation to present YEPC at the 2025 European Youth Parliament (EYP). In Atlanta (USA), a peace program aimed at easing local conflicts has gained corporate support from Home Depot and McDonald’s, as well as official endorsements from six mayors of the Metro Atlanta area. In Tanzania, IPYG collaborated with four universities and organized plogging volunteer activities and, in partnership with a university hospital, conducted a medical campaign that provided health check-ups for local residents. This youth-led social contribution activity even attracted sponsorship from Pepsi, creating a meaningful collaboration among the local community, the corporation, and the hospital.

Padlet – IPYG Partnership Organizations Introduction

To introduce the activities of organizations and youth participating in the network to the public, IPYG utilizes the Padlet platform to highlight the initiatives of affiliate organizations. Through this platform, organizations share their initiatives worldwide and explore opportunities for collaboration (IPYG Partnership Organizations Introduction: https://padlet.com/hwpl/official-introductions-of-participating-organizations-w37ci0emhn2a4wx7 ).

YEPW Members

Besides its partner organizations, IPYG also has YEPW members who regularly participate in its activities. These members go beyond event participation by practicing peace in their daily lives and implementing community-focused peace initiatives. Starting with young people, they are bringing meaningful change to their nations and communities. During the 11th Anniversary of the HWPL World Peace Summit, photos of organizations’ and YEPW members’ activities were exhibited, showcasing youth-led peace initiatives.

The growth of the IPYG network signifies not only quantitative expansion but also the spread of youth-led peace initiatives. Moving forward, IPYG will continue to work with youth around the world, collaborating with government ministries, corporations, and organizations to realize peace.
