▲ Sri Lanka New Village Campaign(Saemaul Undong)- LP Program, Commemorative Message Writing for Sri Lanka New Village Campaign(Saemaul Undong)
In 2016, ASAD Foundation began its official partnership with HWPL and IPYG.
Dr. Sadique, Founder and Chairman of ASAD Foundation and HROPA, shared the following regarding this collaboration:
“We deeply resonate with HWPL’s vision of achieving peace through the power of youth and citizens. This value is essential for Sri Lanka, which has experienced civil war and conflicts.”
Since then, ASAD Foundation has actively participated in HWPL’s peace initiatives, including the Peace Walk and the Legislate Peace (LP) project, and has joined as a key partner in the “Saemaul Campaign in Sri Lanka,” led by IPYG.
Dr. Sadique also delivered a heartfelt message to youth around the world:
“This world is burning with hatred, division, and war. Yet, peace is not just a dream but our responsibility. Youth are holders of rights, but even more importantly, bearers of responsibility. Learn peace, spread it, and put it into practice. You must create and lead the future world with your own hands.”
