Introducing IPYG Affiliate Organization – Youth Environment and Development Organization(YEDO)

▲ Bangladesh Environmental Summit
The Youth Environment and Development Organization (YEDO) is a non-profit based in Bangladesh that works to ensure the rights of young people and create a healthy environment in which they can thrive. YEDO supports youth independence through vocational and technical training, helping reduce unemployment. It also provides community-based disaster preparedness training to help local residents respond effectively to environmental crises. Furthermore, YEDO actively promotes environmental protection through initiatives addressing climate change, pollution prevention, and the use of renewable energy.
To reduce social conflict and violence, YEDO runs drug prevention campaigns and rehabilitation programs. The organization also offers free legal support to ensure access to justice for all. In addition, YEDO enhances civic awareness through democracy education and voter participation campaigns, and supports youth and community well-being through health workshops on family planning and youth welfare.

▲ Walk Campaign for the Earth
YEDO shares and supports IPYG’s vision of peace and is committed to building a sustainable future for local communities. In particular, it seeks to contribute to community development through joint projects in youth education, environmental protection, and human rights. Moving forward, YEDO plans to continue working with IPYG—empowering young people to become leaders of peace and collaborating with youth around the world to build a better future.

▲ Vocational Training
Robiul Awal, founder of YEDO, stated, “I am deeply passionate about supporting the youth of Bangladesh and bringing positive change in the face of climate change. I hope we can come together to build a better, more sustainable world.”
